Disney has a fairly new feature on the app that allows you to order food from certain locations. You can skip the line and walk right up the the designated mobile order pick up area to pick up your food.
The app allows you to place an order for pick up anytime before the restaurant closes. No need to schedule a pickup time simply “check in” when you are at the restaurant and ready for pick up.
Why place an online order? Because I skipped this line and others. Enough said!
Here’s a simple walk through. Open your Disney World App. There will be an order food icon. Select that which takes you to a screen with the restaurants that accept mobile orders arranged by park.
Once you select the restaurant you can view the menu and add items to your order. I did notice a few things are available at a restaurant but were not listed on the mobile ordering experience. For example, Pecos Bills has a taco burger which couldn’t be ordered online.
When selecting your items to add to your order you can select different flavors or options if needed. Click the add to order button, until you have successfully added all the items you want to purchase.
Once you have added all the items to your cart. You will see an option or order summary. After you review your order you will purchase.
After your purchase is complete you will see a button to let the cast members know you are there to pick up your order.
I can not wait to see which other restaurants are added to this list. I hope there are more. This was a great time saving experience. All the restaurants have a designated pick up line so you do not have to stand in line to order to pick up your food. Enjoy!
